Virtual Nevada Tour 2020: Cortez Masto Celebrates Completion of Virtual Tour of All 17 Nevada Counties

Las Vegas, Nev. – U.S. Senator Catherine Cortez Masto (D-Nev.) celebrated the completion of her virtual tour of all 17 Nevada counties. During the past seven days, the Senator has attended virtual tours of local businesses and non-profits across Nevada, participated in teleconferences with community officials and government representatives, and hosted virtual roundtable discussions with Nevada conservationists, veterans and health professionals.

“Nevada is defined by the diversity and strength of its communities, from our rural farmers and tribal communities to the veterans, social workers, teachers and health care professionals on the frontlines of the coronavirus pandemic in Las Vegas and Reno. I’m grateful for the opportunity this past week to safely connect with so many hardworking Nevadans across the state and hear firsthand about the innovative ways their communities are fighting the spread of coronavirus, meeting needs of Nevada students and families, and growing their economies safely and responsibly. As I head back to Washington, I’ll bring these stories with me and they will continue to fuel my dedication to ensuring the Silver State has every resource it needs to face the future with strength and confidence.”
