Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Catherine Cortez Masto (D-Nev.) today issued the following statement on the passing of former Carson City Mayor Robert “Bob” Crowell.
“Bob Crowell served our country in Vietnam and brought his sense of duty to Nevada by dedicating his career to serving our community. With a mix of dedication, compassion, good humor and vision he led Carson City through the Great Recession and left his mark on our state with his uncanny ability to build trust and work with others to improve the lives of Nevadans. I can recall the many acts of kindness and friendship that he showed me when I became Nevada’s Attorney General. Paul and I send our deepest condolences to Bob’s wife, Susan, and his children and grandchildren.”
