Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Catherine Cortez Masto (D-Nev.) read to a 3rd grade class at Ronnow Elementary yesterday through a video call during Nevada Reading Week. The senator read Sofia Valdez Future Prez and answered questions from students during the video call.
“Reading plays such a big part in the development of kids across Nevada,” said Senator Cortez Masto. “That’s why Nevada Reading Week is so important. I had so much fun reading Sofia Valdez Future Prez to students at Ronnow Elementary yesterday and encouraging them to believe in themselves and follow their dreams.”
