Cortez Masto Celebrates Nevada Public Lands Day
Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Catherine Cortez Masto (D-Nev.) issued the following statement marking Nevada Public Lands Day, which falls on Saturday, September 29th. Nevada Public Lands Day is a “fee-free” day for admission to all Nevada State Parks.
“Growing up in Nevada, I spent my childhood camping, hiking, fishing, and exploring the pristine, natural beauty of our state. All of Nevada’s sons and daughters should have the same opportunity. As we celebrate Nevada Public Lands Day, I encourage Nevadans to get outdoors, discover the countless recreational opportunities our state has to offer, and learn how you can help protect Nevada’s natural treasures.”
